The name
Ihana
Wonderful, in Finnish.
Every person carries a unique beauty. The right colors don’t create it. They let it show.
Mastering color is a superpower. It’s time for you to shine.
Find your colors- 01Confidence, not conformityThe best color is sometimes the one that serves your goal, not the one in your palette.
- 02Nothing is off-limitsYour palette shows where a color works best, and where it works against you.
- 03Plain wordsEvery term comes with its translation. An undertone is the tone under the surface of your skin.

In practice
What changes when you know your colors
- ShoppingYou know which red, which blue and which neutral are yours. Most of the rack stops tempting you.
- Getting dressedYou build outfits from a palette instead of guessing. Your pieces go together, and the colors near your face do the work.
- MakeupLipstick, blush and eyeshadow come with a direction: the shades that match your undertone and your intensity.

Meet Lisa
Lisa Routa, color analyst
- A French color analyst and brand color consultant.
- She works with the 12-season method, for every skin tone.
- Featured in the French newspaper Le Monde in January 2026.
The method
Four positions Lisa doesn’t compromise on
What the method does, and what it never does.
12 seasons, not 16
Twelve seasons are enough to be precise, and few enough to stay clear.
No season from a single trait
Hair color alone never rules out a season. Red hair is a clue, not a rule.
A quiz or an app is a first hint
A quiz, an app or an AI gives a first hint, not a verdict. None of them can see your skin react to colors.
Every skin tone, every season
Every skin tone shows up in all four seasons. Your season comes from how colors react on you, not from a label.
Questions people ask about color analysis
Which seasons have medium contrast colors?
Contrast describes you, not a color: it’s the gap between your skin, hair and eyes. Moderate (or medium) contrast belongs to Warm Spring, Cool Summer and Warm Autumn, and Soft Autumn sits between low and moderate.
What colors are for all seasons?
No color is for every season in the same shade. What the seasons share is the families: every season has its red, its blue, its green and its neutrals, in a different version. Take red: Coral for Spring, Raspberry for Summer, Rust for Autumn, Raspberry Red for Winter.
What color season is cool olive skin typically in?
Olive skin doesn’t belong to one season. Olive describes a skin tone with a greenish or golden cast, and it shows up in all four seasons. A cool undertone points toward Summer or Winter, but hair, eyes and contrast decide the rest: no single trait puts you in a season.
What colors do not look good on olive skin?
There is no list for olive skin, because olive skin belongs to every season. What doesn’t suit you depends on your season: a color works against you when its temperature, lightness or intensity doesn’t match yours. Each season page names the colors to avoid and why.
