Not sure of your season? Start with the free quiz.
It gives you a likely season and a first hint of your sub-season in about two minutes. A hint, not a verdict, and a better start than guessing.
Guides: your questions
Which guide should I choose?
Start with your sub-season. If you don’t know it yet, take the free quiz: it gives you a likely season and a first hint of your sub-season, not a verdict. Then read the free page of the sub-season it points to before you pick a guide.
What is a neighboring sub-season?
Two sub-seasons that share one trait and differ on another, so people mix them up. For example, Soft Autumn and Soft Summer: Both seasons need desaturated colors. Soft Summer is cooler, Soft Autumn warmer. Each guide page names your neighbor and shows how to tell the two apart.
What color season is cool olive skin typically in?
There isn’t a typical one. Olive skin shows up in all four seasons, and skin tone alone never settles a season. A cool undertone points toward Summer or Winter and a warm one toward Spring or Autumn, but lightness, intensity and contrast decide the rest. That’s why a guide should start by confirming your sub-season instead of assuming it.
Can a guide replace a color analysis?
No. A guide shows you how to wear a sub-season, it doesn’t determine it. A quiz or an app gives a first hint, not a verdict, and a guide can’t see your skin react to a color. Each guide includes a test you can do at home to confirm.
How will the guides be delivered?
As a PDF you download once you’ve bought it, designed to be read on a phone and printable at home. The guides aren’t out yet, and I don’t have a date to give you today: join the waitlist on the page of your sub-season to hear first.
Is there a guide for men?
Yes. The palette, the neutrals and the contrast rule apply to everyone, and each guide includes a page on men’s wardrobes: suit, shirt, tie, leather, watch.
Do the guides recommend brands or products?
No. Product lines change, shades stay. You get colors, hex codes and the words to look for on a label.
