Autumn sub-season · also called True Autumn
The heart of Autumn: colors of spices, leaves and fire.

Warm Autumn is the postcard Autumn.
Your defining trait is warmth. The more golden a color, the better it looks on you.
You look best in very warm colors with moderate contrast: terracotta, rust, mustard, olive green. Anything cool or pinkish turns your skin gray.
Warm Autumn is the heart of the Autumn season. It borders Warm Spring: the same warmth, but deeper and more muted.
Your colors are those of a forest in October: red leaves, bark, moss, berries.

Both seasons are very warm. Warm Spring is lighter and brighter, Warm Autumn deeper and more muted.
The two-color test. In daylight, with no makeup, hold a piece of fabric in each of these two colors up to your face. The one that evens out your complexion and brings out your eyes is your answer. The one that deepens your dark circles or makes you look tired is not yours.

For everyone
Any skin tone can be a Warm Autumn. Deep, medium or fair, with a warm, cool or olive undertone: what decides is how your skin reacts when colors are held up to your face.
For a Warm Autumn man: a tweed jacket or brown suit, cream shirt, rust, mustard or olive green knits, tan leather.
The method is the same for everyone: the pieces change, not the colors.
